Finance Report
- Jennings read Kim Motioned to accept report as read, Doug seconded.

Ron said PNM called and told us our Bill went up $200 due to increase in electricity
- Angie said we should be off of budget billing, pay a little more in summer, but a lot less in winter.
- Ron made a motion to come off of budget billing and pay for what we use, Doug 2nd, motion carries.
- Stephanie is to set up PNM and give login info to E-board only.
- Bill and Ron commented on RV rental for long term, Bill said never got the check, Commander told them he wrote up the contract, paid through the POS with credit card. After the meeting commander should Jennings the receipt and he concurred.
- Discussed a new service officer needed for our post. Discussed raising the prices of RV rentals and possibly changing long term from monthly to one week.
Kim read brief minutes from previous meeting, (didn't have minutes available)
- Discussed all dues to go through POS for traceability, Jennings said it won't work for checks, everything else is ok. Checks for AUX or SAL, go into drawer, not through POS. Bartenders write a receipt for checks.
- Trying to see if we can get a meter on the RV outlets so we know how much electricity renters are using.
- Boy Scouts still pending.
- Made a motion to raise James' pay to 12.50/hr. with back pay.
- Need a committee to change our By-laws on delegating how to cast votes at conventions.
- Service officer retired, looking for one.
- Aux is donating $500 for mini-splits in back hall.
Membership
- Membership has increased; 2024 we have 625 paid members; in 2025 we have 103 paid members. Gained 46 new legion members this year.
- Carl asked for $200 towards Pig, Doug 2nd, motion carries.
First Vice
- Boy Scouts, I talked with local leaders, gave us no direction. One of scout leaders gave ultimatum of going with EIN # or they will go elsewhere. WE will not give our EIN #.
- I'm stepping down as 1st Vice, moving back to Pittsburgh in Oct; will need to find another 1st vice. I will work with them through September.
- Lisa is doing all schedules/purchasing/running the bar, etc.; would like to pay her more than 12/hour.
- Carl made motion to raise her pay to $15/hr., Angie 2nd. Jennings said we made no money in July. Ron asked to wait and see who 1st vice will be first, further discussion was made.
- She averages 30-35 hrs./week, she gets no insurance. If $15/hr., is paid, it's $2100/mo. Minus taxes.
- Kim made a motion to amend the previous motion from $15 to $13.50 for now, and revisit for more money later.
- Ron made a motion to up her salary $1.50. With Doug leaving, she's taking on more stuff.
- Carl rescinded his motion so Ron's motion is in place, 2nd by Phil, motion carries.
- Bill H made a motion to move our hours back on Friday/Saturday to open @ 2pm, which will save us approx. $200, 2nd by Kim, motion carries.
- Moving hours back will also help with the money to pay Lisa.
Second Vice
- Thanks to everyone for contributing to all the events; karaoke, trivia, bingo, dance lessons, etc. Trivia is up to 65 people a night. Sept 1, Game room re-opening, officers providing food, members bring side dish from 12-6pm.
- Friday Sept 6th, dinner and a band $20/person limited to 112. Dinner 5-7pm. The band (Tall Boys and bad Decisions) is from 7-10pm; variety of music. The food is Green Chili Chicken enchiladas, with lettuce, beans, sopapillas, and biscochitos.
- 50/50 raffle also.
- Sunday Sept 15 or Oct 13th rummage sale/arts & Crafts day. $30/table if the patron is manning their own table and keeps all proceeds. $20 to post if patron is dropping off goods to sell their stuff and post will man the table and keep all proceeds. Left over stuff post will donate to charity.
- Patrons that want to drop off their stuff is to be done by sept 13th.
- Saturday Oct 5th 2nd annual Post 118 pig roast from 3pm-6pm. Carl is asking all 4 groups to donate $200 each to fund. Entertainment committee will cover any other overages. $20/person.
- We will also have the blind auction for items in the back room a week prior so patrons can view items and bid on them during that week

New Business
- Bill Harrington made a motion to authorize the E-board access to the cameras so they can see what's going on at any given time. Ron 2nd.
- Further discussion took place, Carl asked why, Bill said it's about safety issue if alarm goes off and someone has to come up to reset the alarm, fix a door, etc.
- Question was asked who gets the call, Bill said he does.
- System was updated, put new password. Motioned, 2 opposed, motion carried.
Unfinished Business
- Need to get all the things hung up in the game room before September 1st.
- Bill Jennings got a vendor to donate a pool light, its in the back room.
- We will purchase new lights for the darts
For the Good of the Legion
- September 22nd is the cancer chapter 32, Post 99, ending here. We will be doing something here, will get further information. Honor Guard training August 23rd form 8am-3pm 1100 Louisiana.
- Sept 20th, POW/MIA remembrance 6:30-7Pm have a memorial in the back room and explain the table.
